wrapping up the 1st week of the NFL free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles signed former Los Angeles Chargers LB Jatavis Brown and former Denver Broncos S Will Park, a North Philly native
other Eagles news, WR Nelson Agholor is signing w the Las Vegas Raiders, essentially returning to his West Coast roots.
they also said the Eagles have big interest in stud DE Yannick Ngakoue from the Jacksonville Jaguars. he's definitely worth it but not for the rumored asking price of a couple of picks including a 1st rounder and around $20 million a year...yikes! i'd rather save the picks for a possible stud WR and/or possibly rumored Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones
hey...1 can dream!

free agency 2020 pt. 2
FINALLY! we have Tom Brady's new destination team: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! whoda thunk?
-former Carolina Panthers DT Gerald McCoy to the Cowboys
-former Jaguars CB AJ Bouye to the Denver Broncos
-former New England Patriots LB Jamie Collins & Bears QB Chase Daniel to the Detroit Lions
-former Cowboys WR Randall Cobb to the Houston Texans (still won't make up for stupidly trading away DeAndre Hopkins)
the rest i'm too lazy to type up...hopefully something exciting will happen in the draft *sigh*
it will be interesting to see him vs Drew Brees twice a year...similar to him vs Peyton Manning.
on other NFL free agent movements:
-former Philadelphia Eagles S Malcolm Jenkins is looking like he's returning to his stomping ground to the team that drafter him: the New Orleans Saints
-former SB52 MVP Eagles legend and Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles is traded to the Chicago Bears; joining TE Jimmy Graham (ex-Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Saints) and DE Robert Quinn (ex-Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins)
-former Washington Redskins & Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum to the Cleveland Browns & CB Trae Wayans to the Cincinnati Bengals-former Carolina Panthers DT Gerald McCoy to the Cowboys
-former Jaguars CB AJ Bouye to the Denver Broncos
-former New England Patriots LB Jamie Collins & Bears QB Chase Daniel to the Detroit Lions
-former Cowboys WR Randall Cobb to the Houston Texans (still won't make up for stupidly trading away DeAndre Hopkins)

new tradition
i'm not superstitious but i do do (hehe doodoo) stuff/wear clothes a certain way when the Philadelphia Eagles wins. so this Sunday was the 1st when they actually looked good for 3 quarters...unlike their 1st win. and this was how i stared off the day for the game vs the New Orleans Saints
the Eagles (winning), xl Domino's deluxe with extra sauce, 15 (outta 30) P.J. Whelihan's hot-and-honey wings, and a cold Not Your Father's Root Beer is the recipe for a successful game

i'm not surprised by any move. i would've like to keep Emmanuel Acho and Naje Goode but we're really deep at LBs. however, i am highly disappointed we didn't keep Rasheed Bailey even on the PS. that's some bs. maybe Chip Kelly sees something i don't. but hey, i'm no coach, right?

momentary relief
when the trade with Brandon Boykin happened, my initial fear was for Philadelphia Eagles LB Mychal Kendricks, one of my other favorite player
like at least Boykin will have some disadvantages so he can't take his revenge on us. Kendricks is a beast. he may be undersized according to Chip Kelly's system but he is one, if not the fastest LB in the league. who you know can chase down a RB? recently Chip said Kendricks is not going anywhere. i've heard that before from him and Andy Reid and POOF! players magically disappeared. i hope Kendricks stays...him and DeMeco Ryans and Kiko Alonso makes and awesome trio. prolly one of the best in the NFL. mark my words

WTF CHIP?!
apparently the fuckin Chip's Philadelphia Eagles just traded one of my favorite player, CB Brandon Boykin, to the fuckin Pittsburgh Steelers for a 5th round pick....what. the. fuck.
yes, he is undersized for a corner. but yes, he has the highest interception rate comparable to the top corner for a slot corner who only played half the snaps. are we gon be relying on rookies to cover the likes of Victor Cruz or helping out the LB to cover TE's like Jason Witten? i pray Chip Kelly knows what he's doing...

another NOTHER Eagles retired
this time, it's 2x All-Pro RB Brian Westbrook who has retired as part of the Philadelphia Eagles
Westbrook, 1 of my favorite player, is an amazin player. LeSean McCoy wouldn't be who he is if it wasn't for Westbrook. he has the ability to do it all from runnin, jukin, makin defense miss in open space, pass protect, blitz pick ups, and return kicks and punts. Westbrook does it all - whatever you need. i'm glad he was able to end his career without serious injuries because he was pretty injury prone durin the end of his career. now Westbrook can continue his after football career still involved with football by by an analyst of a local Philly station and on satellite radio.
thanks for the great, spectacular memories, Westbrook!!
