JOSEP!

me and the wife went to the Music Box @ the Borgata in Atlantic City like...2 months ago? no, last month - July...to see comedian Jo Koy...

FUNNY-AS-SHIT

man...for half the set he did nothin but improv on audiences. his acts about his mom, his kid, his experience on his travels...i don't wanna ruin it but he is genuinely on the spot funny

what was even better was that we were able to do a meet and greet for free...we were 2nd to last in line cuz of bathroom break but he made sure everyone had their experience meetin him - awesome! we ended up buyin his 'Don't Make Him Angry' comedy dvd and he signed it for us
pretty awesome. so i recommend to everyone that when he comes around, usually summertime in AC - GO SEE HIM!

my projected 53 Birds

with the preseason around the corner and the deadline to cut the roster down to eventually be a 53-man roster, here's what i think the Philadelphia Eagles will look like on openin day (accordin to the current roster)

R.I.P. Ryan Dunn

Ryan Dunn of Jackass died this mornin in PA in a fatal car crash accordin to Yahoo! News. it's a shame...he just turned 34 recently. i always liked Ryan in all the Jackass movies and shows. he was always personable and funny. i think his ability to take the punishment and reactions are so genuinely funny. i'll always remember the skit where Chris Pontius tried to break a board held by Ryan but ended up kickin him in the nuts...or when Bam Magera held his beard with superglue...

you will be missed dearly Ryan

couldn't think of a better recipient

the NBA Finals concluded last night and even though Dirk Nowitzki only had 3 points before the break, the Dallas Mavericks were still in the lead by 2 points. credits to the Miami Heat for makin this series a buzzer beater event. but in the end, it was the rallyin of the other Mavs and their bench that won Dirk his 1st Larry O'Brien trophy, as so did 17 year veteran Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and the every Maverick
it was a huge game, and everyone came up big. despite bein off to a bad start, Dirk picked it up and got himself 21pts, just behind Jet Terry with 27pts. of course, bein in Miami, the celebration didn't seem that momentous but it was worth it as Nowitzki earned himself the Bill Russell Finals MVP award

congratulation to Dirk Nowitzki and his hard earned trophy and the Dallas Mavericks! well deservin indeed...

Adidas AdiZero 2.0

after the 1.5 just got released not too long ago few month and now the Adidas AdiZero Derrick Rose 2.0 has new pics out
with 5 new colors to choose from - it looks like a combination of the Crazy Light and the Rose 1.0 - 1 offers all black, the other has a "Gucci" heel, 1 is black and white, 1 is all white while the last is gray, blue and "melon"

it should be interestin how these shoes'll look in person - i'm honestly surprised that it's not another red/black/white version - which i wouldn't mind

it spose to be release later this year - hopefully i won't miss out. courtesy of SoleCollector

Plaxico Bird-ress?

ever since the release of the ex-New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress from jail, there's been even more speculations now as to where he will land. surprisinly, NFL analysts and i have same mind cuz i thought it'd be a good situation for Burress to end up with the Philadelphia Eagles
lol my photoshop skill isn't up there yet...but you get the idea. i mean, it's a huge advantage for us due to his size and speed. he, and i hate to admit it, killed the Birds in the redzone with his size. besides our speedy receivers, which lack size, Plaxico could be a huge help there. maybe there can another Michael Vick effect within the Eagles organization...but we'll see. there's plenty of WR hungry teams out there so it'll prolly be either 1) who offer the most money or 2) who has the best chances of winnin the big one - depend on Plaxico's situation and priority, money seems more like it - which i don't blame him. either way - we'll see what happens cuz the stupid lockout still in effect...BOO!

what a game!

as game 4 wrapped up between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat with Dallas winnin 86-83...it was another game where the final buzzer determines the fate of the game. and man, even though my team ain't in it - my heart was sure poundin for the Mavs as they missed shots and made shots and every drive was just edge of your seat action - I LOVE IT!
Dirk Nowitzki played with a fever over 100 but he sure looked like he had fun even though he kinda faded, he made the lay-up that put the Mavs up and still banged out 21pts. Mavs tied the series 2-2 and game 5 will be back in Miami...oh boy, i know the Big 3 will be ready

great game!

pic a plate: Garage, New York, NY

we found this place on our last night of our vacation. it's called Garage and it's located on 99 th Ave South in New York, NY. it's a great, great restaurant that has live jazz and excellent food!

Jordans release dates

these are some Jordans that i'm lookin forward to

Finally Famous tracklisting + release date

Big Sean - Finally Famous - June 28th

2 for 1 show

recently i went to see a show @ the Theater of Living Arts, aka TLA, in South St, Philadelphia. it was a combination of comedy and hip-hop. got there a little later than i would like cuz the TLA is a tight, small environment...but it was sold out. luckily i got tickets in advanced :D
to a Childish Gambino & Donald Glover show...mainly Gambino. the show was awesome. the skits were awesome. it was really for the music so the live band and performance were great. he did about 40-45 minutes of songs. he did alot of his hits like Freaks And Geeks, Do Ya Like, My Shine, and older songs from his I AM JUST A RAPPER mixtape. it was a little weird when he took off his shirt though...

the crowd enjoyed it though...there was 1 thing that was annoyin durin the show though. we were @ the top balcony and there was this white dude, drunk or not, that was annoyin as hell. he kept callin out "DOOONALLLDD!!"...@ one point it seems like he was just your normal annoyin heckler...but when it keeps persistin...it seems almost gay and projectin sexually towards Donald Glover too. hey, whatever tickles his pickle.

overall - great show. would go again to see him - his live band was awesome too

and just like that it ends

as the 2011 season for the Chicago Bulls came to an end last week in game 5 against the Miami Heat, the future still looks bright for this team
lead by MVP Derrick Rose, they should work this offseason on gettin a better power forward and for Joakim Noah to be more effective in the paint and make plays. we can't ride on 1 person for an entire season and expect to do the same in the playoffs. by this time, other teams have figured out the flaws and weaknesses and used them effectively against us. Miami defeated the Bulls with their own strategy: defense. not only that but they outscored Chicago AND outrebounded them on the glass. c'mon now...Kyle Korver can't be hot 1 for 8 behind the lines and let it be ok. they need help. Derrick Rose need help. but...it's too little, too late as the Heat went on to face the Dallas Mavericks, and surprisinly but not won game 1 against the Mavs with a strong closin statement by the Big 3. it should be an interestin series...but next season, we'll be back

GO MAVS!!

NOW i feel bad

more so frustrated...even though this pic looks great
how the Chicago Bulls played were not as equal. yeah, they weren't bad exactly...but 10+ turnovers?! c'mon now! fuckin inconsistency from EVERYONE...Deng, Asik, Noah, Brewer, Bogans, Korver, Gibson, Watson, and even MVP Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer, regardless if he had 20+ points. they didn't look like the #1 defense and they sure didn't play like the #1 seed. fuck...but then again, not that it was the sole reason, the Bulls went to the line 7 while the Miami Heat went to the line 15 times within the partial 3 quarters. now, unless the Heat are playin some extremely precise defense...i HIGHLY doubt that they didn't foul any Bulls that few...but hey, maybe i'm biased...like the refs *shrugs*

BUT i do know that in a road game with the favorable calls against you, you MUST play even harder to overcome your opponents and the surroundins...and tonight, even though they came close within 3 points...they managed to blew it with turnovers and missed shots....

fuck this shit...sports' makin me stressed out and die quicker =\

Friday, May 20, 2011

guess i don't feel too bad

after the Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki served the Oklahoma City Thunder up a whoppin 48 points, 24/24 free-throw shootin, 36/39 shootin made/attempt in the win in game 1, OKC came back today and they rallied behind Kevin Durant's massive dunk over the 7ft Brendan Haywood
