the Bulls might've well been swept
now everyone knows i'm a Chicago Bulls fan...but that was a horrible, horrible series...and that's not on the Washington Wizards

my presidential address
i've been tryin to gather my composure on this whole series and how it went down. i've also been tryna collect myself to comprehend the aftermath of it all. the fact that my Chicago Bulls went down swingin, was a proud moment. the fact that they lost by ONE point, was disappointin. but the audacity of Andre Iguodala sayin that they wanted more (than Chicago) is just utter BULLSHIT!

oh lil' Turner
when the Philadelphia 76ers clinched the last playoff spot with a win over (???)...2yr G Evan Turner opened up to who he wants to face in the playoffs, the Chicago Bulls or the Miami Heat

basically a gimme
well, the Chicago Bulls won over the last place Charlotte Bobcats. it's not a victory that i'd be too thrill about but a win's a win. it only helps further us away from the 2nd place team in the East and it gave Derrick Rose (foot/ankle) and Luol Deng (ribs) more time to recover and be more prepare for the playoffs

the return of the mvp
with the Chicago Bulls comin off a huge win against the Miami Heat few days ago with Derrick Rose scorin only 2pts, they headed to Michigan to face the Detroit Pistons. after the lead switched back and forth for most of the game, the Pistons managed to pulled away with 86-83 with a little bit over 7 seconds left after Rodney Stuckey split his freethrows. Rose controlled the ball and came off a screen and hit a critical 3-pointer that took the game into there 2nd consecutive overtime game!

and just like that it ends
as the 2011 season for the Chicago Bulls came to an end last week in game 5 against the Miami Heat, the future still looks bright for this team
lead by MVP Derrick Rose, they should work this offseason on gettin a better power forward and for Joakim Noah to be more effective in the paint and make plays. we can't ride on 1 person for an entire season and expect to do the same in the playoffs. by this time, other teams have figured out the flaws and weaknesses and used them effectively against us. Miami defeated the Bulls with their own strategy: defense. not only that but they outscored Chicago AND outrebounded them on the glass. c'mon now...Kyle Korver can't be hot 1 for 8 behind the lines and let it be ok. they need help. Derrick Rose need help. but...it's too little, too late as the Heat went on to face the Dallas Mavericks, and surprisinly but not won game 1 against the Mavs with a strong closin statement by the Big 3. it should be an interestin series...but next season, we'll be back

"LET'S GO!"
from the words of Chicago Bulls Carlos Boozer, who had 14pts, 9rbs, 4/4fts, ended game 1 in the NBA Eastern Conference against the Miami Heat. even though Derrick Rose said they were underdogs, despite havin the best record this season in the NBA, Loul Deng said @ the press conference, they have to think like champions, and they sure played like it. Rose didn't dominate with points but his pressence alone is a threat. with 28pts, 1rb, 5/6fts, and 6asts, Rose was able to find open players and hit the basket where it counts. everyone stepped up on the Bulls bench and it showed as the Bulls beat the Heat 103-82

bring on the Heat!
as the Chicago Bulls advance to the Conference Finals after winnin game 6 against the talented Atlanta Hawks. the Bulls will face the red hot Miami Heat as they came off a sweep (might as well) of the Boston Celtics in their game 5. even though the Bulls are the #1 seed in the Eastern, they're comin into this game as underdogs, which is understandable. the Heat do have 2x MVP in LeBron James and All-Star Dwayne Wade. shit...even I feel a little apprehensive. i don't know if current MVP Derrick Rose can carry the team through that much but if he had help like he did in game 6, points won't matter. in fact, Rose was gettin help from a sleepin giant in Carlos Boozer
in game 6, Boozer had 23 points, 10 rebounds, and made all his free throws and 10/16. beastin the court with the help of Rose's 12 assists; only 19 points that night, still tied the highest point player for Atlanta though
if Rose can get more effectiveness from Boozer, higher level of energy from Joakim Noah for 48 minutes, same consistency from Loul Deng and contribution from the bench, the Bulls are lookin @ the NBA Title soon...

bring on round 2!
as the Chicago Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers in the series 4-1. Derrick Rose, despite havin a sprained ankle durin game 4, scored 25 points, 3/8 for 3pts, 6 assists, 6/7 free throws. even though he played well, Rose only played for a little under 30mins due to havin 5 fouls :-\
but he wasn't the only one with a great game; Joakim Noah had a HUGE energetic game
Noah had an awesome 14pts game, 8 rebounds, 8/9 free throws...came through huge for the Bulls cuz he too had 5 fouls...and speakin of fouls, Carlos Boozer had i think 3-4 fouls but unlike Rose and Noah, Boozer was completely useless - scorin only 2 fuckin points. and this is spose to be the 2nd highest scorin player on the team? they're gon be in trouble facin the next opponent. sheesh...
on an interestin note, even with 4 fouls, coach Tom Thibodeau decided to put Rose in after the Pacers saw a sign of life comin back to cut the Bulls' lead to 4. (Chicago led as much as 22 in the game) sure enough, Rose bought them back to a 12 point lead...awesome
eventually, Rose had 5 fouls and they pulled him out...always wonderin how the Bulls will do offensively without Rose, the Chicago Bulls entire team stepped up:
-Loul Deng - 24 pts - 6 rbs - 7/8 ft - 3/5 3pts - 7 ast - definately the unsung hero of the team
-Keith Bogans - 15 pts - 2 rbs - 5/7 3pts - 1ast - knockin down 5 3-pointers...had a great, hot game
-Kyle Korver - 13 pts - 1 rb - 1/1 ft - 2/7 3pts - another unsung hero, knockin down them 3s when the time needed
-CJ Watson - 13 pts - 1 rb - 7 ast - good game for him, fillin in for Rose
-Taj Gibson 10 pts - 7 rbs - did a great job fillin in for the Boozer
basically everyone contributed to this win - a game that really made it feels like this is the Chicago Bulls that can win a championship with the entire team
i gotta give it up to the Pacer though. it was definately a physical series, harder than some thought. they never gave up and always fightin...Danny Granger is a beast
ON TO ROUND 2!! vs Orlando Magic/Atlanta Hawks
