pic a plate: Sabrina's, Philadelphia, PA - Pt. 2

yes, another Sabrina's...this time, it's the bigger restaurant on 1804 Callowhill St in Philadelphia, PA
so we decided to go here on Saturday in April...around 1pm. the place had no wait, and definately bigger. still same hipster, cool look. set up like a diner with regular tiny booths for 2. menu this time wasn't Pooh-based, but Full House-based :) (they had a platter called "Go Home Gibller!")
i ordered 2 meal...this banana stuffed hallah(?) french toast with cream...and
this eggs, potato...and i THINK steak @ the bottom? i forgot...it's been awhile. well the french toast was delicious, not enough bananas though. they kinda overdid it with the cream...overall it was delicious though. i forgot what my main meal was but the potatos with onions and peppers were good, and...:( that's all i remembered lol
she had this omelet meal with avocado i think...it was delicious though...it's been too long! :(

overall: 4/5 - very good place to eat. roomy place, friendy staff...food was great...need more hearty food like steaks :D

BUT the important thing was that...i had my Chicago Bulls hat on that day...and towards the rear of the restaurant, there was a big round table consists of Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, and about 3-4 other members of the Miami Heat and their bodyguardS. yep, they just finished playin the Philadelphia Sixers few days ago and had an upcomin game that Sunday...so they were just enjoyin their victory breakfast. i WANTED to take a pic but she made me felt like a groupie...and she was right cuz they sure enough didn't wanna be disturbed. 2 guys walked towards the bathroom (which was near their tables) and said somethin like "we're huge fans" type and they just complete ignore them...and not to mention the bodyguards got up everytime someone walk towards the bathroom...either way, it was cool seein them...but hey NBA stars...learn to embrace fans regardless if you're in an opponent's city...but whatever, it's not like it's Derrick Rose :D

  1. Well if you feel the need to flash a celebrity the next time they are enjoying brunch in a town they are temporarily in for the playoffs... I 100% support you to complete your retro Jordan/JLU collection.
