10 Birds got their wings clipped

it's that time again. the Philadelphia Eagles has to trim their 90 man roster down to 75 by Monday...and 53 by the end of the month. so they started early but lettin go 10 players so far

1. WR Elvis Akpla - umm...i think he had a TD pass 1st or 2nd game...

2. S Wade Bonner - umm...yeah

3. DE Xavier Brown - with his success in the AFL, i would think it translate well here...guess not

4. WR Tiger Jones - another AFL star...just couldn't quite cut it. specially that easy dropped pass earlier

5. WR Brian Hernandez - i thought he looked slow and was just...not ready for the big league

6. WR McKay Jacobson - poor guy...had some catch but with a loaded roster, it was inevitable

7. G Alfred McCullough - umm...also yeah

8. S Tom Nelson - i thought Tom played with alot of heart. shame he got hurt...hopefully he's on the PS

9. CB Kevin Thomas - acquired from the Indianapolis Colts for 2 of our LBs...didn't make impact at all

10. T Thomas Welch - i guess we got too many o-linemen already. expendable

10 down...5 more to come...and many more...

UPDATE 8/26: rookie CB Cliff Harris was cut earlier today. word was he would've been cut along with the 10 but he couldn't be reached
