4 days ago...i was scheduled to work on Sunday. listenin to sports radio 97.5 The Fanatic to feed my ears for breakfast, they broke the news of the Philadelphia Eagles' head coach Andy Reid not at camp/practice. next thing you know, emergency personnel were called in to Lehigh Valley campus. turned out that Andy's oldest son, Garrett Reid, was found dead in his room

can we get back to football, plz?!

i'm so sick and tired of baseball and whatever else is on. after basketball, i don't care anymore!! it's all about the NFL! draft! free agents! ota! training camp! FOOTBALL!!

R.I.P. Junior Seau

the former San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots linebacker was found dead yesterday. accordin to police, he was found in his home dead from a gunshot wound from what seems like a suicide.  

Junior Seau was known for his role in the Chargers' Super Bowl appearance and later with New England. he then had a successful career on Versus where he participated in different sport jobs. he was only 43...what a shame

Moss in Minnesota, again

ahhh...i'm patiently waitin for the day when Brian Dawkins comes back to the Philadelphia Eagles and Brian Westbrook returns back and even Donovan McNabb re-emerge as a QB...just like the late great Reggie White from the Green Bay Packers...but for now, it's the Minnesota Vikings' turn for that moment. their prolific WR Randy Moss that they let go to the Oakland Raiders and resurrected his career with the New England Patriots is now, home? a deal was made for the Vikes to get Moss from the Pats for the Vikes' 3rd round 2011 pick and the Pats give em Moss and a 2012 pick. interestin...apparently Randy was already feelin unappreciated seein how it's his last year and no contract talk have been brought up...so after bein held to 0 catch last game against the Miami Dolphins, it was time...oh well, hopefully the combination of Farve + Moss + Peterson + Berrian + Shiancoe + Rice + Harvin won't be too much for us to handle later down the schedule :(

knowin the Philadelphia Eagles, they're always makin some changes...just recently they picked up DE Antwan Barnes from the Baltimore Ravens. supposedly, they been eyein him since the '07 but the Ravens picked him in the 4th round. now Barnes gets to be an Eagle and we gave up another 2011 draft pick...yay? but as the deadline approached, the Eagles made their cuts and not to my suprises, i was pretty close

LB Tracy White got traded to the New England Patriots and G Stacy Andrews got traded to the Seattle Seahawks (which by the way released WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh!)

i liked Hall and Mallett but weren't surprised they got cut...but Andrews, Harris, and Demps i'm EXCITED they did - boo and woo-hoo!!

on the brighter side, the Birds signed 8 to the practice squad includin: WR Chad Hall (yay!), RB Martell Mallett (yay!), DT Jeff Owens, C A.Q. Shipley, G Dallas Reynolds, and 3 new people TE Garret Mills, WR Jeremy Williams and S Chip Vaughn
