and it came yesterday when former Philadelphia Eagles legendary free safety Brian Dawkins announced his retirement from the NFL

so the NFL decided to pay some positive attention to QB Michael Vick by namin him the Offensive Player of the Month for September and rookie S Nate Allen for Defensive Rookie of the Month...

Vick is 54/89, 920 all-purpose yards and 6 TDs with 0 INT...with a QB ratin over 100 each of the last 2 start...so hells yea he deserved it! :D

Allen has 11 tackles, 2 INTs, 1 sack, and 1 PDef...as a rookie he plays extremely well and has the instinct of what could momentarily fill in the void of the great Brian Dawkins

so i was takin a shit and browsin online, my 2 favorite activities in unison, when i came across my favorite Philadelphia Eagles site and saw that..*inhale*...our beloved Birds traded their 55th pick in the 2nd round to the dreaded, hated Dallas Cowboys for their 59th and a 5th round pick, then they traded that 59th 2nd rounder to the Cleveland Browns for their 71st pick in the 3rd round and 2 picks in the 5th round, and they then again traded with that 59th 2nd rounder to the Green Bay Packers for their 86th and another 4th round pick.

GOT ALL THAT?! i sure didn't!

UPDATE: the Eagles picked up ANOTHER Defensive End: Daniel Te'o-Nesheim

why?! again, what's the point of gettin Tapp? yes, Graham was one of the top DE choice and good insurance for Tapp but another one? what's that sayin about Victor Abiamiri or Juqua Parker? and here i am thinkin we need to fill in the Paul Bunyan's shoes of Sheldon Brown and Brian Dawkins..lol silly me
