the effect of Rose bein on the court is pretty obvious. he opens up players and makes great decision (only 1 to). he can penetrate in the paint and dish it out. even though he's really only back for 2 games since his foot injury...he had 11pts and 8asts...but Luol Deng was the star. he led both teams with 22pts and had 6rbs and had 2 critical 3's, with 1 comin before the buzzer as the 3rd quarter ended. Rip Hamilton added 19pts, Carlos Boozer added a double-double with 12pts and 10rbs, and Joakim Noah had a quiet game but added 8pts and 14rbs. his defensive presence really made an impact as he played with energy and hustle the entire night. from the bench Kyle Korver added 11pts and Taj Gibson added 8rbs
on the other side, the Mavs sat out their top assists guy in Jason Kidd and their shooter Jason Terry. Dirk Nowitzki was his usual self with 17pts, 7rbs and a dominant presence in the paint. he was assisted by the old ass Vince Carter with 15pts and Delonte "Mother Fuckin" West with 13pts. their point, Rodrigue Beaubois, who filled in for Kidd had a dislocated finger in the 1st half but came back and had a great game 16pts, 5asts and 6rbs, all with 1 good hand.
at the end of the day, the Bulls are 2.5 games ahead of the Miami Heat since they lost to the Washington Wizards as well...but that's cuz 2 of the big 3 sat out while Dwayne Wade dislocated his finger as well but didn't return
