where have i been?
i've been just exposed to Childish Gambino and i just heard his album, Culdesac. also heard his single, Freaks And Geeks, from his EP...and i'm REALLY, really impressed. beat selections, lyrics/skills wise - he's definately for real. i can't wait to listen to the other previous mixtapes/albums...and who'da thunk that he starred in 1 of my favorite comedy, Mystery Team :)

this should be interestin...
i wanted to support my tattoo artist's band and music work so i bought an album from him with this drummer. they called themselves Erode And Disappear, who are basically a duo while their other members are on a break, i guess...which would form Northern Liberties
so these came in the mail the other day and to my surprise, he gave me 2 :)
hopefully i'll get a chance this weekend and see how this goes...should be way out my comfort zone O_O

pic a plate: Texas Roadhouse, Sicklerville, NJ
there's a few places that you can go for a good steak. sure you can try your chain of Austrailian steakhouse out-in-the-back or what not but for real manly steaks, it has to be from Texas Roadhouse in Sicklerville, NJ
(not my pic...damnit)
roastin not the same
the Comedy Central Roast of Donal Trump aired on Comedy Central i think last week. i did catch it and it did live up to the rest of the previous roasts. hostin it was Seth McFarlane and the dais consisted of familiar faces such as Jeff Ross, Whitney Cummings, Lisa Lampanelli, Snoop Dogg, and surprise roaster Gilbert Gottfried. newer faces included Mike "The Situation" Sorentino (from Jersey Shore), Larry King, Marlee Matlin, Anthony Jeselnik, and Marlee's translator because she's deaf
the roast went well and everyone was hilarious from the usuals to Larry King, and surprisinly Marlee Matlin. i don't know who Anthony Jeselnik is but he killed too. in all fun, Donald Trump took it in stride because face it, he's a billionaire. he also had his last words and they were pretty funny. of course, he threw in alot about himself includin his pre-speech for a potential presidential canidate in 2012. oh boy...
however, the roast was just not the same. it was clear by several roasters who paid tribute to the late, great Greg Giraldo. his raw, on-point style surely made it a must have to hear and see durin a roast but it just wasn't the same without him. it was a fun night overall though and i'm glad that Comedy Central did special tribute for him later that week
ps
The Situation bombed like his career. it was so horrible that i couldn't barely watch it...finally glad that they decided to ask him to be on the dais so the audience and the world can see how pathetic and retarded he really is

R.I.P. Nate Dogg
Nate Dogg passed away March 15, 2011 due to some health complication due to his strokes. Nate was only 41-yr young and he was widely remembered for his melodic choruses. he was also a huge role player in the West Coast movement durin the NWA, Warren G, Snoop Dogg days. Nate Dogg will forever be missed and no one can regulate like he can.

the returnin of franchise era?
congrats to the Chicago Bulls for so far, leadin the Eastern Conference in the NBA over the Boston Celtics
it's awesome to see the Bulls gettin the recognition they were known for again. i'm gettin tired of the overrated Miami Heat or Celtics or New York Knicks and especially the Los Angeles Lakers or San Antonio Spurs...even though i like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Kobe Bryant, Carmello Anthony and Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobli. i just like the Bulls more and Derrick Rose is a beast!
go Bulls!!

me no see football?
well that's what it seems like as the final day for the negotiation between the NFLPA and the NFL about the CBA. after the 1st extension and a 2nd 7-days extension, the Union has declared "decertification", which i BELIEVE was to displaced them from the players and leavin them to fend for themselves in court and no longer represents them, and now the 2011-2012 season is officially in LOCKOUT!
DUN-DUN-DUN!
so what now? i don't know...and neither does everyone else. all i know is that they (union, NFL, every party that's involved) better get their acts straight because i and every fuckin person in America wanna see football! or else we gotta watch the Philadelphia Souls...eek!

evilBay got me good
so Marvel Universe finally releases their variants of the series 1 Daredevil, Ms. Marvel (Moonstone outfit) and Warpath (X-Force costume)
...of course, you can't get them individually. you may be LUCKY to get one or two of them out of a case of 12...but then you'll have to pay extra for the 3rd one...which is over $100+ because the case of 12 is at least $70 and one of the variants will cost you. so i decided to go to eBay where everythin is more expensive than gas and got those 3 for $70 shipped. i figured, $20+ per figure: doable
well i was at Target yesterday and what do you know i find? the Warpath and Daredevil figure...$7.99 each...MOTHERFUCKER!! i fuckin hate waitin cuz the more you wait the more expensive these shit become but fuckin damn it...i ended up buyin both so no one else can have em!!
*sigh*...that's my lesson for the months. whatever happens, you'll get fucked regardless
ps
i still need these: :-)
*this Skrull is a variant with the Skrull language on the stand behind the figure
UPDATE: now it looks like i need a Ronin variant too...the dark one...MOTHERFUCKER!!
