PINEAPPLE!!

May 7th, another event @ the Borgata in Atlantic City. this time it was my 1st time @ the Music Box where we went to see Trey Songz's competition for the 2nd time, Kevin Hart...

the night didn't start off smooth of course...traffic was ridiculous, but only @ the fuckin toll...how can you not know how much toll is if you're on the fuckin AC Expressway?! have fuckin $3.75 ready!! so of course we were late. the show starts @ 8 and we didn't get in 'til 8:45...but as we were walkin around the bleachers, Kevin Hart JUST came out to hype the crowd up *whew*

he did his thing...talked about his kids, his ability to elude gettin into fights and his family. he talked alot moreso this time about his dad, grandad and Uncle Al...he went into relationship and relationship actions. a few jokes were repeats of his performance @ the Tower Theatre in PA but for the most part, his materials were all new and original. he even opened up with some stuff about his casino experiences durin his stay

you know a comedian is funny when they are put on the spot and can make you laugh...durin the early section of his routine, he almost tripped on the mic cord and he expressed how he could've instantly died on stage that quickly...indeed i don't think a venue as big as Borgata should've had a corded mic, i mean - c'mon now...overall though, he killed it...tears were ROLLIN durin his pineapple bit...even though it was only about 50mins long, it was worth it...

later that night...

we tried to get into one of the clubs, Mur-Mur, but got ridiculously "denied" because my girlfriend and her friends open-toe sandals were considered "safety hazards"...not that their toes alone were, but i ASSUMED it's prolly because some bitch got her toes stepped on or some shit and now they're makin a big deal about it...BUT...i feel another way about the whole experience. the "hostess" looked @ us up and down as if she was tryna spot somethin wrong and picked a reason...maybe because everyone who were in line already @ the door were...um, white? and we weren't? maybe they were tryna get a certain image for the club? special event? who gives a shit...Mur-Mur is racist, end of story! >:-p

and the night wouldn't be completed if on my way home on the Expressway - half way there, i get a flat tire - NICE!! nothin like 3am in the dark, on the side of the road, changin a tire in the cold with cars goin 80mph zoomin by you...and just when i thought no more $ had to be spent...lol - still, can't take away from havin a good time @ the show though...definately would go see him again

  1. Kevin Hart made the night worth while...all else is history, no more needs for complaints (on behalf of myself).

What you find wrong, just fix, and it can be removed with the snap of a finger.
