BET Top 10 Rappers are...who?!

first MTV had their stupid list...now BET has a list that's just as stupid...the only thing that was good was that it didn't have fuckin Wocka Flocka Flame but how is Drake in EVERY list? he hasn't done shit...1 album...and hey, Jay-Z didn't even made the list!! maybe because he and Beyonce and Rihanna didn't show up to their last award show...either way, both list has Enimem as the #1, which is debatable but understandable, but no Jay? that's bullshit...and what the fuck does Jermaine Dupri knows about good rappers? he signed Bow Wow and Da Brat...

wow...from William Paterson to Trey Songz

i used to go to William Paterson University for a semester in Wayne, NJ. durin my early stay, my roommate and i met up with our Resident Assistant and sorta grabbed somethin to eat from Domino's. she was pretty cool...pretty well noticed...and she was pretty involved with her boyfriend @ that time too as well...but that was like, years ago...so few years ago durin the time we sposed to graduate from WPU, i saw her Facebook sayin that she's modelin - cool. then she updated that she was gonna be in that John Legend's video, i forgot which one...a big step from just magazine modelin...and now as i was gettin my daily dose of MediaTakeout, article was about Trey Songz huggin and kissin up on his new chick...

i knew she looked familiar...and sure nuff, i looked her up again on FB and it turned out her profile pic was...

all i gotta say is - good for you Sophia!

UPDATE: guess i never really watched the video but Drake's Best I Ever Had video leadin girl was her too...

April 27th, B.o.B released his debut album, The Adventures Of Bobby Ray, through Atlantic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle. the lp consists of 12 tracks, includin his hit single Nothing On You and upcomin hit, Airplanes. not too many guest features except for Ham Squad (B.o.B's..squad?) Playboy Tre and Grand Hustle's own, T.I., both on Bet I (Bust)...also include vocals from such as Hayley Williams and Bruno Mars. B.o.B teamed up with Lupe Fiasco on Past My Shades. also, the last track features Eminem on the Airplanes Pt. II

B.o.B offered a REALLY refreshin taste of hip-hop; MUSIC in general...i'm always a fan of hip-hop, but sometimes Metallica, Nickleback, or Linkin Park offers an element of singin that blends so well with a song that it doesn't have to be rappin for 4-5 minutes..it's somethin about the lyrics are one with the melody that you get to enjoy both the song and the beat...B.o.B, more like Bobby Ray, adds his singin talent to tracks like Don't Let Me Fall which allows you to be able enjoy, get INto the music instead of quick, hard bump and poundin (if you get what i mean)...and it's not like Drake type of singin...it's absolutely draws you into the song...although tracks like Bet I shows that B.o.B can rap on a "hard" southern beat, and 5th Dimension and Ghost In The Machine has a more techno-ish base, he doesn't stray too far from the substance he's known for

this is an incredibly solid debut album - i 100% vouch for B.o.B...even with all the comparison to Andre 3000, i think this album set B.o.B apart...especially listenin to Can I Fly, which is in heavy rotation for me right now, i'm just embracin this style of...hypnotic croonin...call it what you want, but just pick up the album and support him...and join the adventure!
