yes, i've been gone...but not to worry my few-to-none readers, i'm back (for now) to givin you some recaps of world events as if you relied on me the entire time i was gone for your fixation of pop culture and current events

Sports:
-Brock Lesnar KO'd Shane Carwin to defend his UFC Heavyweight title @ UFC 116
-before UFC 117, middleweight contender Chael Sonnen went on the radio and claimed that Lance Armstrong gave himself cancer with all the "drugs" he took. truth or not, he later denied that was him when confronted by Jim Rome on his radio show
-Anderson Silva choked out Chael Sonnen @ UFC 117 to defend his UFC Middleweight title
-the pathetic Hall of Fame game between the Dallas Cowboys vs Cincinnati Bengals ended with the Boys victory over the Bengals 17-6 - boo! what happen to the Dynamic Duo of Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco? yay Ocho, nay TO
-the 1st pre-season game for the Philadelphia Eagles is this Friday, August 13th 7:30 on ABC against the Jacksonville Jaguars - w00t!!
-the New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis is still holdin out for a bigger pay/gauranteed money - can't say i blame him...sposely they're closin in on an agreement now
-the explosive unemployed ex-Eagles runningback Brian Westbrook may land a spot either @ the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, or St. Louis Rams by Monday August 16 - i still believe in you Westy!!
-oh yeah, LeBron James joined the Miami Heat to form the 3-headed monster with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade - watch out NBA world!
-LeBron's buddy, Shaquille O'Neal, inked a deal with the champion Boston Celtics...to form the 4-headed monster with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce - gonna be a shoot-out! if only i watch basketball!!
-it doesn't seems like the great Brett Farve is comin back to the NFL, let alone the Minnesota Vikings...he said it's due to his ankle injury but we'll see...i would like to see Farve back but not after the New Orleans Saints did him so dirty durin the championship game...fuckin dirty players
-the was a shootin @ Michael Vick's birthday party but it wasn't involvin him so luckily Comissioner Roger Goodell didn't punish him but told him to be on extra good behavior

-stupid Baby/Birdman bought a $2 million Bugatti Veyron. period
-Drake is startin to annoy me...so for that, here's Affion Crockett spoof of Drake's retarded ass freestylin
-this shouldn't even be here but since i guess he's doin somethin in front of a mic, Justin Bieber got hit in the head with a bottle @ his concert - LOL AWESOME! YouTube it!
-i was @ a Joe Budden concert/book releasin party in SOB's in New York - AWESOME show! so hyped and so energetic! even though i paid to meet him...it was too packed so he said he'll do the rest after the show - i spoke to his manager, Crystal Isaacs, multiple time about the meet and greet and she assurred me i would be able to still...but acted like she doesn't remember and only offered a Q&A session @ the end of the show - like BITCH i don't wanna ask questions, i wanna meet him - but Joey was incredibly down to Earth and he sat through every book to get them sign and take pics with whomever...even multiple times with groupie bitches or people that only paid the general admission...still, a big thanks to the wife for puttin up with it for 3 HOURS! yes, he has a 3 hour show! 1 of the best, hands down!

Pop Culture:
-horray!! David Hasslehoff is FINALLY gettin what he deserves as he's gonna get roasted (or get aired of the roast) this Sunday August 15 on Comedy Central
-Lindsay Lohan is out of jail and is makin a strong case about how corrupt the justice system is, especially in California, and how society is doomed thanks to her and the idiotic judge that allowed her leniency - oh and she's still starrin in that porn movie about that porn star...yech!
-Whoopi Goldberg was an idiot before for sayin "it's not rape-rape" for the Roman Polanski shit but now she strongly believe that Mel Gibson is not a racist nor does she find it troublin of his racial rants and slurs...
-speakin of Mel, it seems like he was the bad guy but now his girlfriend, Oskana Grigorieva might be lyin about his...racist comments?
-can't forget about Lawrence Fisburne's daughter, Montana Fisburne aka Chippy D doin porn...eek!!

Movies:
-saw Kick-Ass: 2 thumbs up! awesome! can't wait for the sequel..."...use the Kryptoniiiittee!!!"
-lol stupid ass concept of a hot tub time machine but the Hot Tub Time Machine is pretty funny...aww man that one scene with Craig Robinson and Rob Corddry is HILARIOUS!
-lookin forward to seein Scott Pilgrim vs The World with Michael Cera (awesome!)...surprised to find out that it was a comic book based movie...eh, what ISN'T nowadays...COMIC RULES!! \\m//
-another movie that went straight to dvd that's pretty cool: Operation: Endgame. it has Rob Corddry, Odette Yustman, that lady that worked for Al Pacino in Ocean's 13 that Matt Damon tried to seduced, Ving Rhames, Jeffrey Tamber, and Maggie Q, the main chick from Balls Of Fury
-Brooklyn's Finest is also pretty damn good - shameful endin but great movie - lol @ Richard Gere...
-do NOT watch Babysitter Wanted - UGH! horrible! HORRIBLE!!
-the Book Of Eli is awesome...Denzel Washington is the man
-still tryna find the Chris Rock & Martin Lawrence movie Death At A Funeral
-oh! After.Life is pretty sweet...i'm a fan of Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci with Justin Long. also Christina Ricci is pretty much naked half of the movie :D
